Online Soccer Manager

UI/UX Design for the mobile platforms of
Online Soccer Manager

A bit of history

Online Soccer Manager (OSM) is a game that’s been played for years on web only. Then came Facebook and then game Online Gaming, making OSM a cross platform game for soccer lovers.

The Case

Cross platform gaming came with it’s own obstacles. Mainly because mobile gaming makes use of different gestures, limited screenspace and shorter increments of game time. The question was; how to implement a good UI/UX to increase player retention on mobile?

The Solution

Multiple prototypes, experimenting with different retention techniques, achievements, boss money, timers and other mobile game gimmicks were tried and testing with a group of testers until finally we launched a complete redesign of the mobile versions of OSM.
